WASHINGTON, DC-(ENEWSPF)-3 January 2012. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced today that it has selected 73 individuals from 27 States and the District of Columbia for innovation Advisory program.

The initiative, launched by the Centre for Innovation of CMS in October 2011, will help health professionals deepen the skills that will drive improvements to patient care and reduce costs. After a phase of initial orientation, innovation Advisor will work with the CMS Innovation Center to test new models of service provision within their own organizations and communities. They will also create partnership to discover new ideas that work and share regional and in the United States.
